TRAVELOGUE: Temporality, 2016

‘Non Place’ is a term coined in the 1970’s referring to anthropological spaces of transience, that do not hold enough significance to be regarded as "places". Hotels, Shopping Centres and Motorways are typical examples. It is the ‘Non Place’ of Motorways that I considered through my site-specific installation from 2016, TRAVELOGUE: Temporality. The installation event consisted of 3 separate installations, using a combination of electroluminescent wire, audio and mirrors, created in a series of derelict locations.
